Forest Schools

At Lindridge St Lawrence Primary school we are blessed with a fantastic forest schools and outdoor learning environment! This is located on our school site and is accessed by following our landscaped pathway through the grounds.

Our Forest schools site has a range of areas including:

A deciduous mini forest containing several established trees.
A fire circle with newly created benches by our Hedgehog class.
A covered area containing a mud oven for cooking.

Many more areas that change to meet the needs and imaginations of our children.

Our area has recently had quite a revamp! With a large section in the middle being cleared to allow the children to plant 60 new sapling trees. The site has also had the fencing upgraded so the children can access the wonderful views of the Teme Valley from our site.

Each class has access to the site on a regular basis and benefit from all of the fantastic learning opportunities that nature provides.
